Hi Barbara and Howard, Ian and I had a great time on Whidbey topped off by a romantic dinner at a nice bistro in Oak Harbour. You have a lovely home with a fantastic view. Ian and I like to stay at cabins and B&B's when we explore new places and we always like to check out suggestions from other guests. Kind regards, Adriana and Ian - Vancouver, BC, Canada
Dear Howard and
Barbara:
My mother and I were enchanted by your beautiful island retreat! For the
first half hour, we sat and stared out the front window and melted into those
comfy leather recliners. The house was immaculate, the beds very comfortable,
the view incredible and the character of the house warm and inviting.
We have already recommended Lagoon Point to several family and friends.
We know we'll be back! Warm Regards, Linda - Snohomish,
WA

Hi Howard and Barbara,
We had a wonderful time and plan on returning to the Lagoon Point B&B.
The continental breakfast was great! The house was easy to find
and in a great location (the neighbors were very friendly too). I
was very happy about the fact we could bring our dog to your home (and he
loved going to Greenbank Farm!).
Thank you for a wonderful getaway for my husband and I to celebrate
our first anniversary together.
All the best, Vanessa - Seattle,
WA

Hi Howard,
You and Barbara have a lovely home. I wish we were able to stay a few
more days.
My dog had issues with the hardwood floor because she was sliding around
when she walked a little too fast but she does that at home too =). Otherwise
she was very comfortable too and thank you for letting me bring her.
We stayed in the larger room upstairs with the 2 beds. I love the heater
in the bathroom, that is a great idea. I love the bronze fixtures. Restaurant
menus in your binder was helpful information. It was great to have the place
to ourselves. We really wanted some quiet time and so overall we had a
very nice stay. Thank you!!, Carrie - Kent, WA

Dear Howard and Barbara,
just a line to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at Lagoon
Point, what a beautiful and well appointed house! We were only sorry it
was just one night, we would have loved to stay longer. We are on our way
back to the UK tomorrow, and will remember our stay as one of the best bits!
thank you again,
very best regards, Rob & Sue -

Howard and Barbara,
Thank you for sharing your beautiful log home with us. We enjoyed
our stay. I would recommend your place to anyone I come across. I
appreciated you getting someone there to turn the heat on to prepare for
our arrival. We turned off all the thermostat before we left.
We tried to leave the place as we saw it. I enjoyed reading a book you had
called "The Painted House". I started reading the first few pages then
we took off. I would like to rent your place again. I would like to
take my kids there, they would enjoy it a lot. I would like the whole place
like we had over the weekend. Again thank you for sharing your place
with us. - Cindie

Hoawrd and Barbara,
We had a wonderful time at your Lagoon Pt home.
Directions were wonderful. Even the ferry and weather cooperated.
We could tell you'd gone to a tremendous amount of work to make your home
a wonderful place to stay, and we'd love to return someday. Was delightful
to be so close to the alpacas at the Greenbank Farm, too. Thx for sharing
your home w/ us. We couldn't have had a nicer time! - C.J. - Seattle,

Dear Barbara & Howard,
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! That weekend was
AMAZING. Didn't even care about the rain on Saturday, we just stayed
in and read, enjoyed the view, and toured around Langley. During dinner
we were told that wales were in view and we got to see two baby gray wales
playing with each other. Saw the blow hole spout and everything. The
next day we ran around the park and down to bush bay (I think) and back up
the beach.
Can't thank you enough. Wonderful place, and will tell ALL our
friends.
Sincerely, Dominic and Nicole - Beaverton, OR

Hello Barbara and Howard,
Wow, what a week! Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us.
We enjoyed our stay so much. . . well, we had quite an incidence on Wednesday.
We arrived Tuesday evening, a little later than we planned, and put things
away, pottied the dogs, and settled down for the night. Wednesday morning
we took the dogs out to potty. We were
right there with them. Lily (black lab) walked across the street to
sniff, ducked behind a small bush and was. . . .gone! For 2 1/2 days
we, and the entire neighborhood including the garbage trucks dispatch system
searched and searched. The people in that neighborhood are spectacular!! Then
Friday morning, we received a call from our vet in Lynnwood who said a neighbor
in Lagoon point had taken her in and had her if we wanted to pick her up.
We walked right down there and got her. They said if they hadn't located
us, they would have kept her because she is so
loving. We are so thankful to have her back and very grateful to all
the neighbors for thier help. What a group!
We have two traditions when we stay somewhere away. . .
1) leave the place better than the way we found it
2) leave a jigsaw puzzle for others to enjoy
So, we have left the puzzle we put together. It is a nice picture of
a birdhouse
with birds around it. 500 pieces so easily put together in a day or
so.
If you ever need someone to caretake or stay for any reason,
let
us know. We'd love to stay there again. We noticed there are many things
you are
doing to the place to finish it. We are both very handy and if you ever
want us to
stay there and work while we are there, we would be more than happy
to do that.
All for now. Thanks again for a wonderful opportunity to
enjoy our family. We
were'nt able to have the grandkids over but several family members did
arrive and
enjoyed the place and the view very much.
Sincerely, Kevin and Mary -
